Terms & conditions of sale.

Clichéo is a service published by AVA FIRST AI, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with its registered office at 173 rue de Courcelles, 75017 Paris, France, registered in the French National Business Register (RNE) on 24 April 2026 under SIREN number 104 044 201 (SIRET 104 044 201 00010, APE code 62.02A). These terms govern the sale, on clicheo.com, of personalized artwork generated from a photo provided by the customer, in digital form and/or as a printed product.

You create your artwork from a photo; your first preview is free. You then choose your product (HD file or print) and pay for it in euros through secure checkout. An order becomes firm once payment is confirmed and the confirmation appears. A confirmation email is sent to you with an order number.

Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (VAT) and, for physical prints, delivery, and are displayed before you confirm your order. The HD file is included free with any print; it can also be bought on its own. The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of the order.

Beyond your free first preview, extra generations (new versions of your artwork) are paid for with credits, bought in packs. 1 credit is worth €0.30 including VAT, whatever the pack. Credits are valid for 24 months from purchase; they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. An unused pack is fully refundable on simple request to contact@clicheo.com within 14 days of purchase.

The digital artwork is delivered by email and/or download, as a rule immediately after the order. Physical products are made to order by our partners: Gelato (network of printers in Europe) for posters, framed posters, canvases, aluminium and acrylic prints and the magazine; Prodigi (workshops in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands) for the Collector block. Indicative lead times, in business days: posters, framed posters and canvases, produced within 2 to 3 days then delivered in 3 to 6 days; Collector block, aluminium and acrylic prints, produced within 3 to 5 days then delivered in 3 to 8 days; magazine, printed within 2 to 4 days then delivered in 3 to 7 days. We deliver to the 27 countries of the European Union, Monaco, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway. For the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, which are outside the EU customs union, customs duties and import VAT may be charged on delivery and are payable by the recipient.

In accordance with Article Article L.221-28, 3° and 13°, of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order goods (made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized), nor to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance has begun with your prior express consent and your waiver of the right of withdrawal. Since every cliché is crafted bespoke from your photo, orders cannot be cancelled once the creation has started.

This exception does not affect the legal guarantee of conformity: if your print arrives damaged or faulty, reach out — see the next article.

Customers benefit from the statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects. If a print arrives damaged or non-conforming, write to contact@clicheo.com with your order number and a photo of the defect: we reprint any damaged or faulty print free of charge, or offer you another fitting solution.

Independently of this commercial gesture, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity of the goods with the contract under Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and for hidden defects in the goods sold under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code. The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to act under the legal guarantee of conformity; they may obtain repair or replacement of the goods, or failing that a price reduction or termination of the contract, and need not prove the defect if it appears within 24 months of delivery. In the event of a hidden defect, the consumer may choose between cancelling the sale and a price reduction (Article 1644 of the French Civil Code), within two years of discovering the defect.

You warrant that you hold the rights to the photo you provide and the consent of any identifiable people in it. You retain ownership of your final artwork for personal use. Any content that is illegal, hateful or infringes the rights of others will be declined.

By sending us a photo, you grant us a non-exclusive, free and limited licence solely to generate your artwork, display it in your preview, print it and deliver it to you. This licence ends when your photo is deleted, at the latest 30 days after upload. Your photos and artworks are never used to train an AI model, never resold, and never used for advertising without your written consent.

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, customers may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The name of the consumer mediator is provided on request at contact@clicheo.com pending its appointment. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
